Make public sexual harassment a specific criminal offence

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Like over 90% of women and girls in the UK I’ve faced public sexual harassment from a young age. No woman should feel unsafe walking alone that’s why I’m petitioning to make Public Sexual Harassment a specific crime.
Experiencing public sexual harassment is traumatic, scary and creates a culture where men abuse their power to make women feel inferior. By making this a specific criminal offence we can help create a safer, happier society and prevent women and girls across the country from being sexualised and put in danger from a young age.
