De-Trafficafy Norwood Road

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

To influence the closure of Norwood Road to traffic or to introduce a congestion charge in order to reduce the noise pollution.
Norwood Road is becoming way too busy and the noise from the traffic is outrageous. We need to get a debate going in parliament to look at the possibility of closing it off to buses and cars etc in order to restore peace and quiet to the neighbourhood.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about local traffic management are a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
