What the petition asks

The government and parliament needs to change course from this human right violating and racially discriminating hotel quaranteen setup to only help rich hotel owners in the name of public health.
This measure does disproportionately affect/discriminate black and ethnic minorities.

The government may consider other measures specially for those who live on their own in self-contained accommodations instead of putting them in such unaffordable and substandard hotels. People who have COVID are already self-isolating in their own accommodation, why would this be any different?

Furthermore, instead of such cruel measure which violets our freedom, the government could/should have arranged GPS Ankle Bracelet to remotely control while self-isolating at home.
