What the petition asks
The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill will minimise the legal rights of members of the public to protest, especially near Parliament or if the protest is non-violent but a "nuisance". It also sets out the framework for harsher punishments for vandalising a statue than for rape.
This is dystopian, draconian and neo-fascist.
It is an insult to our democracy.
We the undersigned demand it is withdrawn.
