Remove the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from the red list travel ban

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Remove the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from the red list. To allow UK residents to come home and complete the 10 days quarantine at home and not in a government quarantine hotel providing they have spent at least the last 10 days in the UAE or a non red list country.
Since the UK added the UAE to the red list, case numbers have halved and continue the downward trend, that’s despite the UAE increasing covid testing to around 1/4 million tests a day. That’s 3% of the population each day and is the highest amount of tests per capita of any country in the world.
Flights from South Africa have been banned.
The current vaccination rate is the second highest in the world currently close to 70 doses per 100 at the time of writing and increasing every day.
