What the petition asks
Discuss the issues surround the use of Nitrous Oxide for recreational purposes. It is highly dangerous and incredibly cheap and accessible. There needs to be some way to regulate the purchases of these canisters. As they are for kitchen use, businesses should require a license to purchase them.
Our local town is covered in small canisters/balloons from where people have been using these for a quick high and leaving their rubbish around. Not only is this bad for the environment, but it’s also a highly dangerous drug which is now becoming a major issue.
We need to make these products harder to access. Businesses who use these regularly should require a license to purchase them, and all other purchases of these should be illegal.
