What the petition asks
People have been injured by police dogs and horses; when they haven’t been kept under control by their handlers.
The use of animals within the police at protests in particular is unnecessary and unreasonable and a complete waste of public money.
The use of animals within the police at protests in particular is unnecessary and unreasonable and a complete waste of public money.
It is cruel and confusing to bring these animals into these highly stressful situations.
The use of animals within the police at protests recently, is quite frankly, unnecessary and abnormally stressful; for the animal at hand, the people involved in the attacks and the people that have to witness these horrific scenes... Not to mention a complete waste of taxpayer's funding.
Too much damage has been caused to innocent civilians through the use of animals in the police force. To enslave an animal and use it to intimidate people or as a weapon, is not morally justified.
Please help to stop the abusive use of animals, as a form of intimidation and weapon.
