Stop the coronavirus act extension
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
We do not want the coronavirus act extended for another 6 months. This must end now.
People have lost their liberties and freedoms. Suicide rates have risen and damaged mental health rates have rocketed. We now know enough about the virus in order to proceed as normal.
Initially the plan was to “flatten the curve”. According to recent data this has been achieved and we now have all necessary resources to confront future cases. The coronavirus act was instated for an emergency state purpose, which we do not need anymore. It empowers the government to take exaggerated measures.
