Increase penalties for the owners of dangerously out of control dogs

Closed 272 signatures

What the petition asks

All pets, Wildlife & Live Stock should be provided the same protection under the Dangerous Dogs Act as Assistance Dogs.
Attacks on pets, wildlife and livestock by out of control dogs are common, and can result in injury, trauma and death. The Dangerous Dogs Act should be amended to increase penalties for owners who allow their dog to become dangerously out of control.

Animals deserve better protection. They must not be regarded as "property" and given the rights they deserve.

For many lost Animals including:
Harry the Pomeranian attacked and Killed by 2 Dogs.
