Increase funding for NHS mental health services

What the petition asks
The NHS is not able to keep up with the growing demand for mental health services, with extremely long waiting lists, limited therapy availabilities and difficulties seeing psychiatrists. MH services need to be more accessible as 40% of GP appts are about MH.
Thousands of patients have waited over 8 months to see a psychiatrist, and patients are often prescribed antidepressants without even seeing a psychiatrist. The Government should increase funding for NHS mental health services to ensure that people with mental health issues receive the care and support they need in a timely fashion.
