What the petition asks

If an MP chooses to leave their party they should resign and allow their constituents the choice in who their MP should be.
Constituents vote for a party as well as person and if the MP is convinced they represent their constituents they should have courage of their convictions to allow the constituents the choice

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
