Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Cambridge Labour City Councillors call on parliament to vote on allowing virtual attendance in local government meetings and committees an option in perpetuity.
Virtual meetings have had there advantages in terms of inclusivity and wider participation. This has really benefited our local community structures and we want virtual attendance in all local government meetings to be an option. This we have learned is essential for reaching residents who are in rural communities furthermore those with responsibilities they cannot leave.
