Help save our ocean and end government funding towards overfishing.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

To help end overfishing, the uk needs to end funding towards the fishing industry. Preserving the ocean by having more guarded and regulated No take zones in the uk oceans. Allowing healthy Marnie life to thrive in our ocean, will have positive effects on endangered species and climate change.
The uk government has funded over £100 million towards fishing, which is then sold to the consumer as 'sustainable'. The 'sustainable' fishing is killing and endangering not only Marnie life that is intended to be caught but a huge amount of Marnie life is suffering from bycatching. Wild Mammals starving as a result of no fish.
Marnie life intake our co2 emissions and cool down the climate and produce over 50% of our oxygen. To help support climate change we need to take action on overfishing.
