Make legal aid available to all parents in family court cases

What the petition asks
Make legal aid available to all parents in family court. Parents are disadvantaged by not having legal representation. This has a knock on effect on the children involved. If the parent can demonstrate it would benefit/improve their child's welfare as a result, they should be entitled to help.
Non-molestation orders are often abused as a result of legal aid only being made available in domestic abuse cases. This comes at a considerable cost to the tax payers and government. This in turn leads to lengthy family court cases that needn't be and is not in the best interest of the children. Legal aid should be made available to anyone that isn't in the financial position to afford a solicitor this would significantly improve the process and reduce NMO applications.
