Reduce the cost of vets’ fees, especially for out -of-hours services.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the Government to help reduce the cost of vets’ fees, especially with the out-of-hours provision.
I want the Government to recognise that there hundreds of pets given to rescue centres, due to the cost of vets’ fees.
I want the Government to know that vets’ fees cannot be paid with a ‘working-wage’ and many animals are donated to, euthanised or left as unwanted by so many charitable rescue centres.

We want to keep our pets.
We don’t want our pets to suffer.
We want reasonably priced fees for every day of the week!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government is not responsible for vet fees. This is a matter for individual veterinary practices.
