What the petition asks

Sentence people to life in prison for stealing dogs. All we hear about is how the family is affected, what about the fear the dog goes through? This is theft of a life! A family members life! Send the thief down for life! A stricter sentence my stop them!

Parliament and the Government have issues with child abductions, why are animals life’s less than ours? Animals have rights! And when any pet is stolen, imagine what that animal goes through! The fear they feel! Why should the thief just get done for theft and a short sentence? They need to be punished the same way child abductees do!
