MPs to declare all investments, directorships and family conflicts of interest.

What the petition asks
The register of interests is proven unsuitable for Mps with extra discoveries having been hi-lighted. Needs more direction and less ambiquity. And stated actions for breaches to compensate, and not just say SORRY.
Legislate to ensure MPs have FULL constituency resources and time, less distractions from elected role, to ensure value for money to tax payer and representation to constituency.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about existing arrangements for MPs to declare interests, but we're not sure exactly how you would like these to be changed.
