Require all owners/occupiers of premises to keep their premises free of litter

What the petition asks

Pass legislation which requires any individual or organisation responsible for premises to keep those premises tidy by clearing up litter as it occurs.
Too many owners/occupiers allow their premises to become clogged with litter (whether dropped directly or windblown). Apart from being unsightly and a danger to wildlife, litter often blows from private premises onto public land, meaning that local authorities are faced with the expense of cleaning it up.
