What the petition asks
Listen to the lecturers protests and take them into consideration for the benefit of young peoples education and help the future economy lead by this generations education.
To take into consideration the pay that they give teachers/lecturers in Scotland so that they can provide students with the proper education they need and have a healthy educational system.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Scottish Government is responsible for education in Scotland. That means that the UK Government and Parliament can't look into it.
