What the petition asks

Enforce the Hunting Act 2004 & close loopholes
Hunting is not a sport, it is an illegal, outdated & barbaric activity which involves foxes being chased to exhaustion and ripped to pieces whilst being alive by hounds. It's has been banned since 2004 & loopholes known as "Trail hunting" allows illegal Hunting to take place. Trail hunting didn't exist prior to the Hunting Act 2004.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about hunting, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We could accept a petition calling for trail hunting to be banned, but you would need to provide your full name.

Enforcement of bans on hunting is a matter for the police, not the Government or House of Commons.
