Enact legislation to ensure the protection of our Football Clubs from owners.

What the petition asks
Have a legal framework in place to stop football clubs being used as purely money making business by unsavoury owners. They must be held accountable by their fans similar to the German system.
The latest attempt to “Steal”‘the top 6 clubs away from the fans to start a European Football League was a prime example on what the owners want to do. They want our English Clubs on the global market and they do not care about their traditions ans links to their local communities.

The Culture Secretary said the Government would "put everything on the table to prevent this from happening."
