Make advocacy support a statutory right for all veterans

What the petition asks
The Government should make national advocacy support available to all Service Leavers and Veterans, particularly those who feel isolated, vulnerable or unable to engage with charities or public services, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.
None should feel they have nowhere left to turn.
The impact of life in the Armed Services can be a lasting one, and life after service can become overwhelming and hard to navigate. Having access to an Independent Advocate would help Veterans address needs such as housing, benefits, military pensions or access to health services. This type of Advocacy support should be a legal entitlement for all service leavers.
