Ban the production, sale and use of disposal BBQs

What the petition asks
The government should ban the production, sale and use of disposable barbeques to prevent gorse fires which happen regularly throughout the spring and summer. Huge destruction is caused to nature and wildlife, and the fire services are stretched, putting lives in danger.
With gorse fires a regular occurance, likely from the carelessness caused by members of the public, the risk to nature and the environment is irreplaceable. Disposal barbecues should be banned to prevent gorse fires from happening and destroying vast AONB like the Mourne Mountains. This is one example of destruction caused by a gorse fire. This has caused irreplaceable damage to the environment and puts the lives of people at risk due to the resources needed to manage these fires.
