Make random drug/alcohol testing mandatory for Members of Parliament

What the petition asks
Introduce a drug/alcohol screening programme for Members of Parliament to ensure they are in a fit state to represent the electorate.
There are occasions when certain Members of Parliament appear to be less coherent than you would expect. I believe that implementing a mandatory random drug/alcohol testing programme for all Members of Parliament is essential to maintain the trust of the electorate and to ensure they are capable of carrying out the role for which they are elected.
There should be disciplinary action taken accordingly as you would expect within any organisation or profession carrying this level of responsibility.
