Stop closing our local Hospitals and A&E in Kent
Rejected

What the petition asks
We would like the government to stop closing our hospitals down then selling off the land to private developers. We would like you to start building new hospitals on the existing sites.
We feel that closing hospital down costs lives and moving into distant areas will cost even more lives. As some injuries need to be taken care of straight away or if not as quick as possible.
So moving them over 20 TO 30 miles away will definitely cause more injuries and more severe cases of Paralysis or Deaths.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about restructuring of NHS services is a matter for individual NHS Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups, not the Government or House of Commons.
If you are concerned about the restructuring of services in your area yous should raise this with your local NHS Trust or Clinical Commissioning Group.
