Reopen High Wycombe’s Hospital

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

High Wycombe’s has a population of 125,257 people. Buckinghamshire’s second largest community. A community with this amount of people needs a 24hr hospital with an Accident and emergency department
it takes just over 30 mins to get to Stoke Mandeville Hospital which has a population of 60000, 27 minutes to get to Wexham Park hospital and as we all know in an emergency every second counts, A town that has a university and no hospital just a walk in clinic that shuts at 20:00 hrs I therefore would like the government to relook at reopening the hospital in High Wycombe, due to the size of the population and time it takes to get to neighbouring hospitals.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about the provision of local NHS facilities is a matter for indiviudal NHS Trusts, in this case Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

If you are concerned about NHS provision in your area you should raise this directly with Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust: https://www.buckshealthcare.nhs.uk/About/contact-us.htm
