Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the freight costs, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we could accept a petition calling on the Government to create a fund to help retailers with increased freight costs, or for regulation of the freight sector, but it would need to be clear how you wanted the sector to be regulated if that was what you wanted to request.
