Add CPR, Basic Life Support and Defib Training to National Curriculum for 14+

Closed 3,565 signatures

What the petition asks

Add these life saving skills to the kids syllabus for 14 years old and above to ensure everyone is fully CPR trained.
Supply schools with Resusci Annie mannequins and mock Defib machines and require students be taught how to react and perform CPR chest compressions should someone ever collapse in front of them.

Whether this be supply schools directly or allocated training dates to go to different schools. They should be taught basic life support skills, managing/ clearing an airway, chest compressions and how to apply defibrillator pads effectively. Everyone above the age of 14 should have these basic skills!
