STOP Heathy Mill, Offmore & Comberton 1400 housing estate development

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

It has come to light a beautiful part of our countryside is due to be made into a dwelling with 1400 homes. This is heartbreaking as it is home to so much wildlife and a popular route for walkers. It also means local farmers would be forced to relocate.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.

Local planning decisions are a matter for your local authority, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.

You could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: https://www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors

You can also petition your local council directly. Find out how to petition your council here: https://www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk/your-council/councillors-committees-and-meetings/constitution/section-21-wyre-forest-district-council-petition-scheme/
