Ensure, where possible government contracts are awarded to UK companies.

What the petition asks
Before we left the EU it was common for local and central government contracts to be given to overseas companies thus compromising jobs for UK people. Now we've left the EU these contracts should be given to UK companies employing UK people whenever possible.
For example Sheffield's supertrams are being built in Spain https://www.railjournal.com/passenger/light-rail/vossloh-despatches-first-sheffield-tram-train/
