Change secondary school dress codes in England

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Allow students in secondary schools to feel relaxed and to be able to express themselves with clothes, piercings, hair colours, makeup etc. This is important as this will help students in school, by allowing them to express themselves and discover who they are.
Allowing students to freely express themselves will improve students willingness to learn and to apply themselves. Additionally, this would assist them in becoming who they are which happens most in teenagers and adolescents. Allowing students to figure out who they are and hallowing them to feel good in clothes/makeup/colours they are comfortable in will also help with the crippling body image and dysmorphia found in young people aged 10-25
