Change, rules, make laws to protect children/parents from unnecessary separation

What the petition asks
To change laws and make mandatory rulings to prevent social services constantly making mistakes bye making them have to wear body cameras, follow strict procedures, and to not be allowed to take action on opinions and suspicion alone without solid evidence or following the correct procedures
To stop children and parents being unnecessarily separated enabling social services to provide more resources for the children who ARE in need of urgent support and protection.
This needs to be a priority because while social services are getting it wrong due to unprofessional agents and management acting on suspicion or rumours without procedures or evidence they are actually wasting resources and actually causing multiple types of abuse while their aren’t enough resources for the real victims

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about families being separated by social services, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
There are already strict rules in place regarding the removal of children, and this can only happen if a court has issued a care order,
We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
Make it mandatory for social services workers to wear a body camera: Make it mandatory for social services workers to wear a body camera
Make it a specific criminal offence for social workers to lie: Make it a specific criminal offence for social workers to lie
If there are specific changes you want to see to the rules relating to child social services and care orders you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
