What the petition asks

Poulton/Seacombe have been left for years to become derelict, dirty & depressing. Poulton road had butchers/grocers/pet/post-offices now it’s all boarded/up or takeaways & off-licences. Play parks are dangerous or left, Kids/social clubs closed, wasteland growing. Emergency Regeneration needed now!

We need change, the area has a drug/gang culture amongst it’s youth due to the desolation of it’s community. More drug addicts, alcoholics and homeless are gathering around the seacombe/poulton Tesco’s area, crime rates rising. Rycroft field’s park is a waste land, the gandys play park is gone, gorsedale park is full of glass and junk, There is nothing for people/kids to do. Just takeaways and off-licences to eat rubbish and buy alcohol. The whole place is trashed, unclean and unsightly. Neglect
