Stop forced adoptions in the UK

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like the government to STOP forced adoptions in the UK. Social workers are taking children to be adopted, because there is not enough funds to support parents so it’s easier to send them to be adopted! This needs to stop
Social services is the uk do not have enough funds or staff to adequately support families in need and as a result more children are being sent for adoption against the parents will! Parents are only given 12-26 weeks to be assessed to see if they can parent their child! This is not enough time to adequately assess a parent before making final decisions.

When a child is sent for adoption against the parents will relevant agencies assisting in the adoption gets £32,063 for 1 child adopted
