Petition · past parliament
Delivery drivers to learn their local area map, to prevent missed deliveries.

What the petition asks
I would like this petition to be signed and debated, to avoid delivering of goods to households being missed and delivered next day because drivers cannot find the delegated addresses, even with instructions provided. From this, I would like for them to learn the area they are working in.
Delivery drivers serve a purpose and are valuable, however a forward thinking, the London taxi drivers have to go through a process of knowing the roads, I would very much like to suggest that delivery drivers have the same process to avoid missed deliveries.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Implementing this would be a matter for individual delivery companies, as part of their employees' terms of employment.
