Petition · past parliament
Allow PCR Covid tests from NHS to be validated to travel outside the UK.

What the petition asks
As an NHS worker, and completing covid PCR tests weekly, I would like this to be valid to use at the airport when travelling outside the UK. Does not make sense the need of payment for more tests when we do weekly at the hospital
So we can use those tests to travel being part of the NHS staff.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you're concerned about testing requirements for international travel, however existing regulations, including the ban on NHS tests being used for pre-departure tests, apply to travellers entering England from abroad. A resident of England does not need to take a test to be allowed to leave the country. Any requirements for entering another country, such as requiring a negative test or proof of vaccination status, are a matter for the relevant national government, not the UK Government.
