What the petition asks
Scrap the current VED for a system based on mileage.
The current system is extremely unfair for low mileage users who have to pay the same tax on their vehicle, make those that use the roads pay for what mileage they do.
Low mileage users do not cause as much damage to the environment or climate issues, those that cause or contribute the most should pay.
