Inform Hull Council to re-evaluate the recent cycle lanes and all day bus lanes.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

To step in and force Hull city council to reassess their current cycle lane and bus lane plans which is causing excessive amount of unnecessary congestion within the city. Also to reassess the large amount of approved road works which is forcing road closures again making unnecessary congestion.
Hull city council is ignoring the voice of the people when approached locally about the issues of the newly installed cycle and all day bus lanes. HCC roadwork approval system is also in question with a large amount of spontaneous road/bridge closures with little or no warning at all causing yet more congestion. A typical 20/30min journey in and around the city is currently taking on average around 1-2hrs (depending on time of day)
We would like government to intervene and steer HCC to reassess
