Recognise Northern Cyprus as an independent state and enable free trade

What the petition asks
Please recognise the Turkish Cypriot Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as an independent state, and all free trade with Great Britain. Trade with TRNC should greatly benefit Great Britain on the agricultural, touristic and manufacturing sectors.
The TRNC has been subject to trade restrictions with Great Britain for decades. It is such a lovely country. The benefit of recognising the TRNC will be mutually beneficial.
