Require companies using animal-tested ingredients to declare this on products

What the petition asks
Require by law that cosmetics companies who commission the testing of ingredients on animals must declare on their products that the ingredients have been 'tested on animals'.
Whilst it is illegal to test cosmetic products on animals in the UK, some cosmetics companies have been actively involved in organising & funding safety testing research for REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) which in some cases has included commissioning new animal tests. Consumers should be made aware of the companies & products that have used ingredients tested on animals after a cut-off date.
