What the petition asks

The UK has poor rates of initiation & continuation of breastfeeding compared to other countries; including third world countries. Humans are sicker than ever with more allergies, obesity, asthma & general poor healthThe NHS is struggling with many wards full to capacity. We have to stop & think WHY?
There is evidence around the newborn microbiome & how breast milk supports a healthy gut microbiome, ultimately leading to healthier adults.Yet this is not mandatory in medical training for Drs and GPs.Menopause training isn’t mandatory, yet 50% of the population are female. It’s not well understood by GPs & women are often prescribed pills & diagnosed with depression.Something has to change to resolve this huge inequality and practice which is damaging the health of the human population.
