Provide urgent humanitarian aid to Southern Madagascar
Closed

What the petition asks
International bodies are urgently calling for international support as over a million Madagascans go hungry, with some surviving on insects and wild roots. Show leadership and work with humanitarian organisations and the international community to deliver food supplies and halt this catastrophe.
Climate change and COVID are exacerbating famine in Southern Madagascar, which is suffering its worst drought for 40 years. As child malnutrition rates have nearly doubled in just a few months, funding is urgently needed by humanitarian partners to avert a hunger catastrophe. Lives are at risk and children are suffering. In the worst affected areas, acute malnutrition has risen by 27%.
