Increase Funding for Existing Youth Clubs and Open New Youth Clubs Across the UK
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
To open up the conversation of directing more funding to youth services. To further understand the link between the closure of youth services and youth violence.
Research suggests that more than 40 per cent of London’s youth clubs could close within a year due to a lack of money and funding.
The pandemic has affected young people in various ways including their education, their mental health, and their economic standing. These all have an impact and exacerbate youth violence.
