Make videocalling while driving a specific criminal offence

What the petition asks
The Government should make videocalling while driving a specific criminal offence, with penalties in line with those for drink and drug driving.
I want this law change as my farther was killed by someone who was videocalling while driving and they only got a sentence of 30 months.
There are already offences for using a mobile phone while driving, but making videocalling while driving a specific criminal offence, with penalties in line with drink and drug driving, should help stop particularly dangerous behaviour.
I want the Government to make these changes to protect us all from individuals who feel it’s okay to videocall while driving, even when there may be a serious outcome.
