Zero rate Public Access Defibrillators not donated to an ‘Eligible Body’.

What the petition asks
Zero rate community or charitably funded Public Access Defibrillators, together with associated equipment, e.g. cabinets and installation, not donated to an ‘Eligible Body’ but placed in a public space.
Access to rapid defibrillation is a key objective in the saving of the lives of patients suffering a Cardiac Arrest. The costs, both financial and emotional, of a sudden death are immeasurable, both to the victim’s family and friends, and to the public purse.
Now we are free from any EU constraints, the continued taxation of these items is a flagrant milking of the public’s good will which should cease.
