Make it illegal to refuse a dog treatment at a vets based on cropped ears

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

In Nala’s name we ask that veterinary practices are stopped from refusing medical treatment because the dog has cropped ears.
The dog is not accountable for their ears being cropped, and should not be condemned to death or harm based on assumptions and labelling theory.
No dog should ever be refused treatment because of something that is out of the dogs control.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.

Decisions about whether to provide veterinary services are a matter for individual veterinary practices, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
