Change the law so legal rights of Special Guardians are extended to funeral date

What the petition asks
Ensure that Special Guardians maintain their legal rights to a child after the child's death and to the date of the funeral.
By protecting the rights of the Special Guardians it would ensure that the possibility of having to go to court and fight for the right to make funeral arrangements and the right to attend the funeral would be minimised. After the death of a child it is an extremely difficult time, and to have added stress regarding the arrangements for the child is unbearable. Special Guardians care for the child in life, they should be legally protected to care for the child after death.
