Allow weddings without restrictions if guest are vaccinated or test negative

What the petition asks
Remove the current restrictions on weddings, if guests have either been fully vaccinated or test negative for Covid-19. Venues could put in place systems to check this.
The current restrictions mean that thousands of couples are still unable to celebrate their wedding day as they would like.
The Government Events Research Programme is already supporting pilot events that rely on testing and vaccines to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission.
These measures could allow weddings to go ahead in a safer way than current measures that do not require any testing or vaccination.
