What the petition asks

Delete the quarantine for Spanish residents in the UK to can go visit our families after one year or more.
After these hard times for all of us, we would like to visit our families.
The majority of us were are working in the UK so with the quarantine will be very difficult to can travel and see our relatives because there's no time and we can't spend 10 days at home without work.
We think the three tests are enough to prove if someone is infected or not.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about existing requirements to quarantine, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Your petition calls for Spanish residents in the UK to be exempted from requirements to quarantine, but it's not clear exactly how you want this to work.

The current Covid-19 requirements to quarantine when entering the UK are based on the country a person is travelling from, not their nationality.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we could accept a petition calling on the Government to remove Spain from the red list, or to allow people to travel to their home countries without having to quarantine upon return, if either of those are things you want to happen.
