Petition · past parliament

We would like the Government to investigate the DVLA and its current practices.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

The DVLA is a government department led by The Rt Hon Grant Shapps Secretary of State for Transport. We require the Secretary of state for Transport to find out why these anomalies are taking place and put procedures or policies in place to prevent them from happening in the future.
When some HGV driver send in their licences for update, they are being returned with entitlements being removed.
The current situation is resulting in drivers being dismissed from their driving positions or given alternative duties, which is greatly impacting individual livelihoods. Through no fault of their own they are being greatly impacted! The situation is unfair and damning for employee's and their employers.
